We are so excited to be slowly transitioning out of Blackboard Collaborate and into New Row! New Row has built a platform specifically for K12 schools and brings together all of the necessities of BBC while adding so many amazing features including: up to 25 webcams on at one time, no program downloads, and ability to share a variety of different formats (videos, presentations, etc.) with much more ease. Students will get a first introduction to New Row the week of February 1st. The recording of this New Row Introductory Orientation (held in a Blackboard session) can be found by clicking here! Students will then experience New Row in Homeroom, Clubs, and Small Group Sessions the week of February 15th. New Row Orientations will also be led by the Student Support Team. The recording of a Newrow Orientation session (held in NR) can be found below! We know it will take time to transition, so our rollout of New Row is slow and steady. Students will not have regular course Class Connect sessions in New Row until later in the term. We will regularly ask for student and family feedback - thank you in advance for your patience and your communication related to this transition! We are excited to move into our Video-First Culture referenced in our Handbook and allow students, teachers, and school staff to form community with the expanded use of webcams and microphones during class.
